We had a discussion on glucosamine & chondroitin several months back. My
wife and I had been taking it (Costco brand) for a year or so and saw our
joint pains eliminated. You stated that it was a placebo effect and that
studies show the stuff is useless.

After reading more studies I thought maybe you were right...........so we
stopped taking it 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Guess what? My joint pains are back, most especially in my knees. I asked
my wife this morning if she noticed anything different and she also noticed
joint pains where there were none before while taking the G&C.

Maybe the stuff does not work for some folks but it definitely works for us.

I am heading out to Costco this morning to buy a bottle of the stuff. After
taking it for a month or so I will report back to let you know if the joint
pains went away again.

Bad karma? Placebo effects? Reading comprehension challenges?

I wouldn't take much stock in any medical advice you might be given in
here...especially if the 'good doctor' moonlights as a 'sheriff'!

Anything which improves his karma is good, no?

BTW, have you made your contribution to the CBF to get a tree planted in
your name? By now Harry should have received his card from them. Just
imagine, a big, old oak in your name. Wow.

Old man Herring really has a thing for Harry lately. I bet he is trying to
get some free boat rides out of it.

Funny thing is... JohnH was one of the few invited out on Harry's boat, but
got fussy & decided the Parker wasn't worth his time.
You'd think he'd be more appreciative.
