Vessel Management Software
Working on feature set for design of a vessel management software suite... What are the things you'd like a package to provide as it relates to your boating? Things like stores, asset inventory, to-do lists, fuel consumption, parts for mechanical items (filters, impellers, etc.), cruising log, contact management, things that expire (registration, fire-extinguishers, FCC licenses, etc.). Any ideas appreciated. ------------------------------------------------- Captain Guy s/v Island Time (Beneteau 352#277) AICW 845.5 386-689-5088 |

(others do, of course). Maybe including the things that people *ordinarily* write down anyway, like maintenance intervals, log entries, last fuel and oil change hours, etc is enough. When I use up the last of a critical store, my last inclination would be to go fire up a PC and make a notation of the fact--- I'd be more likely to go the the nearest supply source and replace it. |
