Before put in storage for the winter was the fuel run or drained out of the
carb? Have you checked the condition of the spark plugs? Is there spark? Did any water get in the fuel ? Pump some fuel from your tank into a glass jar using the motor's hose and look for water. This won't work if you try to pour fuel from the tank, the water will be on the bottom of the tank. If you have spark and good spark plugs, this only leaves fuel problems or a dirty carb. You may have to remove the carb and clean it thoroughly. If there is any water in the fuel tank, it is best to dispose of the tank, hose, and squeeze bulb and replace it with new. Or you can try to get the water and other impurities out of the tank and continue to experience difficulties. Tanks and lines are cheap at Wal-Mart. Don Dando |
