Default Fishing report for today...

Along with the lobster traps and losing $8 worth of lures,
justwaitafreakinminute managed to snag a nice one.

Unfortunately, it broke off.

Here's some pictures of Scot working "the big one"...

Nice pictures of a sailboat, skipper, but no fish pictures. Stop inhaling
that cigar. It's cuttin' off your oxygen supply.

Wimp hooker. I at least hooked a big boat, the Glomar Explorer, when it was
moored in Suisun Bay.

Well, with no headshake, no run, and a chunk of seabottom that came up
on the hook, I think it was bottom. Anyway, who knew lobsters likes
fancy spoons and other tackle. Apparently they have traps out there
called "lobster traps" where the lobsters go to steal tackle... who
knew, not like anyone told me they are marked with little green water
colored balls, three feet under the water

She shure looked nice out there. What a perfect day on the water. Wish
we got something like that at Essex for the tall ships, we usually get
a little floating cesspool called the Black Pearl, crewed by a bunch
of unwashed ner-do-wells... They charge you 5 bucks each to climb down
into the bilge and see where they sleep

I've seen the Black Pearl but have never been aboard. They may be
unwashed but probably having a heck of a good time though.

It is a tiny ship, something like 45 feet, and was desperately in need
of a ships carpenter. When I heard "tall ship" I was thinking of
something like we saw yesterday. As to the comment about the crew, I am
kind of teasing, most of em' actually looked a lot like me She was
crewed by a great bunch of early twenty somethings, mostly American,
seemed to be having a great summer.

I'll let you know next time we're in Essex, probably not this year
however. If you bring tools you can climb into the bilge for nothing.
Not Tom though, he'll have to pay the usual rate. :-)

Although I am somewhat built for bilge climbing, rather just bring the
eats! I'm a good cook... Let us know when you get around.
