Yes, looking back on it I've come to the conclusion we were simply "virtual
prisoners" in a floating prison camp, of sorts. The grunts had to be dealt
with differently after the forced slavery of the draft board was turned
off, resulting in better conditions for all the "volunteers", like me, who
joined the Navy to stay alive, a survivalist tactic to avoid being murdered
by the elite in Vietnam.

You didn't, directly. You did encourage them into the MC, right?

I'm a viet vet, but discourage as many young people from becoming cannon
fodder for the United Nations Army/Navy/MC/AF as I can, now. These
constant wars are caused by BANKERS who control our government and stand
to
make billions if the wars can be sustained as long as possible.

Official Calls Kurd Oil Deal at Odds With Baghdad

By ALISSA J. RUBIN and ANDREW E. KRAMER

BAGHDAD, Sept. 27 — A senior State Department official in Baghdad
acknowledged Thursday that the first American oil contract in Iraq, that of
the Hunt Oil Company of Dallas with the Kurdistan Regional Government, was
at cross purposes with the stated United States foreign policy of
strengthening the country’s central government.

“We believe these contracts have needlessly elevated tensions between the
K.R.G. and the national government of Iraq,” the official said, referring to
the Kurdistan Regional Government. The official was not authorized to speak
for attribution on the oil contract.

For someone to say that the worst that can happen when being hit with
one is a concussion (and only when a helmet is not worn) shows total
ignorance on their part.

Why does teaching your children to kill hold such wonderful fascination for
you? The whole country seems infected by this bug. Everyone should visit
a gun show.

I know this post isn't addressed to me, but even though I have a
collection of over 50 fire arms, I never did have a wonderful
fascination to teach to my children to kill.

But I did take real joy in teaching them to get their lazy ass's out
of bed and get jobs.

I don't think Larry's comment was directed towards gun owners, but those
who take pride in the fact that their kids can beat up the "elderly",
and thinking a DI would beat up Harry because he made a snide comment.

I understand that, reggie, but I was making a point that working is
directing useful energy. "beating up" elderly or whomever is not...
