Where's Harry's kitty CAT????? http://www.eisboch.com/wherecat.jpg Eisboch Yeah...he'd make a nice light snack. ;-) Wife is already thinking about a new cat... although our old one is still kicking. She saw a Maine Coon cat somewhere and was talking about getting one. I say...an SPCA feline is fine...and a whole lot cheaper. |

She saw a Maine Coon cat somewhere and was talking about getting one. I say...an SPCA feline is fine...and a whole lot cheaper. I adopted a cat many years ago. Or, I should say the cat adopted me. She started hanging around because I started feeding it. I was never much of a cat lover, but "China Cat" was pretty cool .... acted much more like a dog than a cat. She would follow me around, hiking through the woods, running if I ran and walking when I walked. She would fetch sticks when I threw them for her. We had her for about a year but *someone* accidentally ran her over one day. The cat was sleeping under *someone's* car and that *someone* took off to go somewhere and that was the end of China Cat. I won't mention any names, but her initials are "Mrs.E." Eisboch |

There's no need to buy a cat when there are so many that need adopting. |

http://tinyurl.com/35a8ym This is Cal-Boy, the stray kitten we adopted a year ago. He showed up in the back yard a few times, hungry but friendly. So we put out a safe trap, baited with sardines. Naturally, he went for it. Took him to the vet for a checkup and shots, and brought him home. Now, he follows me around like a puppy, and always keeps me in sight. Weird behavior for a cat, but he's very friendly and vocal. I've got a cat that does the same thing. He follows me all over my property! |

I'm not a cat expert, but I thought that's what a Maine Coon tail looks like (long.... or at least not short). Maybe I missed something. Rick |
