Just returned, yesterday, from a great trip aboard the cruise ship 'Disney
Magic'. A great week with stops at Key West, Grand Cayman, Cazumel, and Castaway Key, by Abaco Island in the Bahamas. The Disney folks really take care of their passengers with great food, great shows, and a beautiful ship. I highly recommend it! |

I have never been on a cruise, but it sounds like a great trip with the grandkids. |

Norwalk Virus, necrotizing fasciitis, MRSA, colds, influenza... Sure, I'll take a cruise on a big ship with hundreds of other people and their rug rats that I don't know on your recommendation. Like hell I will. :) |

As an aging baby boomer I cannot imagine wanting to take a cruise aboard a ship filled with snot nosed screaming spoiled brats........grandkids or not. I shudder every time we go out for dinner to find us next to a cheap skate family who decided to bring their screaming preschooler with them rather than hire a baby sitter. Having to endure an entire cruise with that *atmosphere* is not my cup of tea. That is the reason why they offer so many different kind of cruises. |

I'm with you, no eff'ing way I'd EVER take a cruise on one of those monsters. A small river cruise with under a dozen staterooms, maybe. But one of those floating apartment buildings... never. |

Are you the same lying Harry Krause that made a $100 bet with me on the election? I won the bet and you disavowed it, although you stated clearly in this newsgroup you agreed. The bet was not for my gain. I asked you to send it to the Make a Wish Foundation. We all made the same wish, Wally: that you would drop dead. Apparently we didn't wish hard enough. |

I do have two immunological disorders and have to be aware of the very real possibility of infections of all sorts from sinus to routine cuts, bruises and skin problems like poison ivy. If I get a cut, it takes a while to heal becaue of it and if it gets infected, I have to cut out some of the regular meds to take antibiotics and that ain't no fun. Besides I hate crowds. :) |
