Hey guys, I have a bit of business up near Clifton Park but I need to
wait until the snow is gone. How's it looking up there? Anyone close
enough to give me a report?
Thanks, Scotty

One of my salespeople was there this morning. Major roads are fine. Back
streets still a bit sloppy.

I need to determine when the snow cover is off the ground, we have to
go off road to load and move a boat. The guy does not want me to tear
up the yard. Do you know if there is there still snow on the ground up
there?

Yes, there is. And, the ground's frozen hard. You're probably better off
with snow on the ground, especially if you have 4WD and a low gear range.

Why not call the guy and ask him what shape the ground's in?

Good point. When that snow melts and the ground thaws......... a vehicle an
make quite a mess.
Heck... even my dog makes a mess when the ground is soft & wet.

Even the guy who plowed my driveway couldn't hurt the lawn a couple of days
ago. The big municipal plow is another story. He took out the first 4 feet
back around Christmas. I suspect either cell phone use or cocktails in the
truck.

Where in the Queen's grammar manual does it describe "a vehicle an make
quite a mess" is proper grammar?

also noted he was busy so not to bother him till it is...

Simple answer: The snow cover's not gone.

You buying a boat from this guy, or doing some sort of work for him?
