Ethanol has 2/3 of the energy of gasoline. E-85 should sell for 60%
as much as gasoline.

Growing corn for motor fuel is extremely dumb. Not to mention that it
puts upward pressure on food prices worldwide. The poorest third world
wretchs are starving because of gasahol. I am from Iowa where the
ethanol comes from, BTW.

I agree, we should use sugar cane. Brazil is completely foreign oil
free because of it.

We are now at about $3.19 on the street for 87 octane, with swings from
$3.09 to $3.29 from day to day.
