Does any one know how easy or hard it is to add a second helm station
to a boat that has a hydraulic steering system. Is it easy as putting a splitter in the hydraulic line? Thanks Brian |

Thanks Brian My 25' Parker had a second helm station in a SeaStar hydraulic system. There were special fittings inside the second helm, more like "pass throughs" than splitters, and there was a third hose that served as a way to bleed the lines, if memory serves. I have a booklet from teleflex, part number 296221-e, that I downloaded from the teleflex site: http://ww2.seastarsteering.com/SHARE...Fs/PDF_files.h... How many does your 36' Zimmerman like lobster boat have? |
