simple rules of the household, you should either not visit or you
should expect to be escorted to the door or the dock.
The proprietor of "the other group" has simple rules posted, and he has
repeated them in several forums. You apparently did not believe they
applied to you.
Unfortunately, "rec.boats" has no rules.
It is unfortunate to a certain degree. You would have been banned a

private messages. I've gotten a total of four so far, at two different
sites. Easy enough to filter right into the SPAM box on email...

I really don't know what his game is...does he think those he insults here
