I see that apparently for some, it's just horrible to talk about any
other recreation other than boats here. Funny, though, if you go to
Chuck's site, you'll see that the topic du jour is national ID cards
and constitutional rights!!!!

Actually, the hot topic over there right now is suicide knobs. I guess we
are held to a higher standard over here. That forum has been a big
disappointment so far. You can't let the inmates run the asylum. Chuck needs
to regain control and put a stop to the nonsense if he wants to make a go of
it.

The only *contributions* I have read from you over there are trolls
and insults. My guess is you will be the next one to be banned as you
cannot behave like an adult.

That other place and the members there are the main topics of
discussion here along with travel trailers fund raising, politics and
Nascar. Boats are the main topic of discussion at the other place and
this place is never mentioned.

Now where is the problem Jim? Think about it and get back with me in
the morning.

Have a nice day.

Indeed, Florida Jim is dragging his bait of petty little trolls and
insults...

Thanks Loogy, but I can't get the wife interested in a 'pop top' no matter
how fancy. She thinks Airstreams are the way to go, and I'm wanting to look
at Coachmen (man?).

ROTF! Loogie recommended a pop top camper when you were interested in
Airstreams?

I am surprised he did not recommend one of these:

By coinencidence, yesterday morning i ran into an old neighbour while
walking the dod at a local park. (He has a Brittany Spaniel vs my English
Springer Spaniel)
Anyway, he told me he works for a local RV place now and we got to talking
RVs.
He said for his personal choice, he'd go for a 5th wheel setup. Of course,
that entire package would be a bit rich for me.

Edson makes some nice wheels, with and without the knob. I'm going to
install the Edson knob I have and give it a whirl. I forgot I had one;
bought it at a fishing/boating gear sale last year at one of the local
firehouses.

Listen to the village idiot Hertvick!! He doesn't even realize that
the "pop tops" I've mentioned are first class. Airstreams are heavy as
hell. I've got a guy lives down the street that works for one of the
largest RV places in the Atlanta area, but I'm sure Jim knows more
than he does.......
