Here's a few more pics of the St Johns River around DeLand, FL. Hontoon
Island is a little camping/picnicking area on the river. River runs down the east side of the island and a little swampy creek on the west side. Nice place for family outings. http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo...Q4siBRQ4MQr9SA |

Pretty country. Black Creek was full of gators and PWC'ers. Never saw one get eaten, though. Wanted to... |

My nephew had a SeaDoo a while back but traded it for a 'SeaDoo Sportster (more like a boat). I had a chance to ride the motorcycle type version and it was fun but doubt I'd buy one. So you still prefer atiller outboard to a side console on your open boat eh? I'll decide this year what I want. |
