Tom..
I towed the Yukon down to Porters Lake (NE of the city) this afternoon and
got a chance to open it up.
My Garmin GPS says I reached 25.7mph.
The boat seemed to come up & level out around 14-15 mph and that seems like
a nice easy cruise speed for it.
It's a long lake, I had to go under 3 highway bridges, so coming back due
south I was facing into the wind and some chop. The boat dances over the
smaller stuff (under 1 foot) I may remove the rod holder next to the seat
as it interfers with the swival action.
Anyway , it was a great run, I had sections of the lake all to myself
without a boat in sight.

A nice easy cruise speed is a good way to cheat the Bush-Cheney-Saudi
axis of evil out of additional profiteering.

Even in real life, nobody wants to be anywhere near you.

Or you......

You pointed out that you wouldn't do anything to improve the tone of the
group, but do you find it necessary to join in the crap?

I feel free to participate or not participate in any manner I choose.
Your posts often inspire unpleasantness by others. I think the term
they use for folks like you is "Passive Aggressive". I don't worry
about whether some of my posts are positive and some are negative. I'm
just here for the same reason that some people play minesweeper.

That's fine. I was just wondering.
