I think, and being an amateur at this which means it's probably bullfeathers, that the southerly wind shear at 30-40K feet was stronger than they anticipated which is ripping the storm apart. Well, forecast that son of bitch to stop over N. GA. Screw N. Georgia. I want it back out in the Atlantic then up the East Coast right up Fisher's Island Sound so I can get from great pictures from Watch Hill. :) Screw you and your silly photography.
