Default GPH?

Without a guage, I need suggestions as to how to estimate my gph use
on a small skiff. I could fill the tank and run around all day, but is
there a better way?

Best way is to full the tank, run it for an hour at varying speeds,
then fill it again - the refill amount will be your GPH.

Simple as that.

Sure, fill tank. Run around at your usual speed for half an hour.
Refill, take that amount and multiply by two, the answer is your GPH.
You could do 15 minutes and multiply by four, but the less of a run
you make, the more inaccurate the result.
