Maybe it's another head fake like the bumper stickers yesterday. Since Obama has Biden as VP on his web page, and sent out email and text messages to all of his supporters, it would be one hell of a head fake. Why would you selecta guy whose known as a true "insider" if your message has been hope and change? In some ways, Biden, even with his over inflated ego, is a better candidate than Obama. It doens't make sense. This is supposed to be about hope and change - guess that message has changed. With respect to Biden, eh. He thinks he's smarter than he really is, has made some spectacular gaffes over the years and basically called Obama not only inexperienced, but not very bright - for a black guy. So much for Hope and Change. I think the independents are saying the exact same thing. The independents will chose this president, the same way they have the last 4 presidents, and Obama is looking more and more like an empty shell. As opposed to what? A tired, forgetful old man who doesn't look like he will live through one term? May be a plus for his election. Most of the populace is not enthused with either candidate. And if McCain picks well, that could give a real added boost to the election. I think most of the independents, the ones who are going to do the choosing, are fed up with the politics as usual and the overspending. |

I was hoping for Mrs. Clinton, but Joe Biden is fine with me. I can't wait for him to eviscerate McCain and his likely Brylcreem veep - Romney (ugh). I wonder if Romney knows how many houses he owns... :) Excellent choice by Obama. Couldn't have picked a guy with more sets of of cross hairs already painted all over his body. Biden's current record for getting out of Presidential races is well known and well published in the liberal media. I wonder if Obama just put the VP position up for bids and Biden outspent everyone else? I think all of the better choices for VP turned down Obama because they see him for what he is, a Marxist and a loser in November. And, the don't want to be associated with either. |
