If only a civil level of debate could be occasionally bantered, I could tolerate it. The childish insults and name calling is simply not worth my bandwidth. Quite possibly I'll re-subscribe after the elections, but I doubt it. Enjoy yourselves while I get the boat ready for fishing... Take your boating related, or other stuff, over to Chuck's Place. It's monitored, so Harry,et al, can't get too carried away. http://boatingforum.proboards91.com/index.cgi? |

The desparate lefties have swamped this group with lies trying to discredit Palin in the last few days. It's a desperate attempt to save their boy, but the GOP ticket has them on the ropes, and they know it. It's funny watching them scurry about, but I agree it's getting a bit old. Once they realize lies and decite won't work and they'll have to meet the challenge head-on, this place will return to its normal, abnormal self. |

This hasn't been a boating newsgroup since "Reggie Smithers" re-emerged here. No, this hasn't been a boating newsgroup since YOU re-emerged here. Stop! You are all responsible. Maybe some more than others but I haven't seen a single regular poster here who isn't at least part of the problem in some way. Even the ones who like to think of themselves as somehow "above the fray" do their part. As do you. Absolutely! But I can't hold a candle to you with your dots and tinyurl links. That's REALLY dispruptive, and completely lacking in real and ernest participation of any kind. |

He's really incapable of independent thought, or, as he ages rapidly, seemingly any thought. |
