Way to go Sarah! You mean, by saying she wasn't going to answer the questions that were being asked? Palin didn't do herself any more damage, but I'd bet polls show the undecided voters thought Biden won handily. I guess I misunderstood her...I took it that she meant that she wasn't going to fall flat on her face by answering the questions in the way her critics and the media expected...you know like on SNL or with Katie Couric. She was going to be herself, not like her handlers forced her to be in those previous interviews. I thought Biden, like previous men she's debated (in Alaska) underestimated her a little. Of course, he was in a tight spot...men just don't attack women in polite society and get away with it. Tom G. I called it pretty much a draw, which is pretty damn good for a gal going up against a 35 year veteran in congress. He should have been able to mop the floor with her, but he didn't even come close to doing that. Apparently your opinion is not the one shared by the majority according to the polls. Attacking her would have been a mistake and he knew it. Even if you believe it was a draw, that's a win for Obama/Biden. It was clear to me that all she did the entire time was repeat the messages she had memorized from her handlers. She has no knowledge of the issues. The comment about having a good conversation with Kissinger was total bs. All she did was meet and greet those people in nyc to try to bolster her resume. She spent no real time in deep discussions with any of them. She is about as unqualified for the vp spot as a person could be. Since you mention qualifications, name just 10 and let's see how the P and VP candidates measure up. Call on Krause for help if you want. |

Even with the poll stating that they thought Biden did better in the debate, some 84% stated that Palin did better than they expected. For a new comer I thought she did pretty good.- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - Tim, you can't say that kind of stuff here. You will only get the regulars calling names and dismissing you like they do with half the country. And be sure not to ask any direct questions... If asked any direct questions on which you haven't a friggin clue, just take a Palin approach and ramble aimlessly about being a mom, mayor, governor, an energy genius, best recipe for potato salad, etc. like she did with 90% of the questions she was asked last night or during any of the interviews. |

That show was done with class, and at times it was downright freaky! Loved the way they cast the quirky characters! |

I didn't really care for it much when it first came out, but the more I watched it, the better it was. Hilarious, and obviously well done. Better than the sitcom "Carter Country" during Jimmy's administration. |

She's soooooo bubbly...and empty-headed, she'd be just perfect. Or maybe she could replace that mindless blonde bimbo conservative on The View... |
