Why do you have to be "told" so many things. Learn to think for yourself, dummy. This from Dan Krueger, a piece of crap so insecure he had to buy TWO bmws? Trying to impress himself no doubt. Something is seriously lacking...probably since childhood. useless.. plonk Now dumb Don has jumped in! I don't buy cars to impress myself, or others, for the same reason most people don't drive 1980's cars. I prefer quality, performance, comfort, and a car that is always under warranty. I don't pay for oil changes, brakes, or even wiper blades light bulbs. BTW - both cars were made in the US! And the profits were shipped overseas to help "someone elses" economy. Those "profits" were diluted after paying salespeople, administrators, factory workers, truck driver, etc. Doesn't nearly cover it. The generated wealth goes elsewhere. What do *you* drive? Depends on the weather and my mood. When you feel like being honest, I'll let you know where your car was built and where the parts came from. I already know the answer, at least for most of them. Honest! "Most of them"? WAFA will call you a snob (or something equally stupid) for owning several cars. So you do know none were made 100% in the US, right? That would be an incorrect assumption. You don't know nearly as much as you think. I'm pretty sure that I have several cars that are 100% U.S. made. I own more than one car for very practical reasons. Nothing snobby about it. They must be old as hell if that's true. Nice job "Chuckie dotting" my post and then responding. That's a new one. Just admit you were wrong and move along, dimwit. How can I be wrong if you didn't name the year and make of the car? You can certainly spin better than that. I don't have to provide anything for you to be wrong. You made a stupid assumption while trying to impresss everybody with your automotive trivia, and you were wrong. Your position was that portions of my car was made outside the US. You were wrong to think I had only one car, and you were wrong about where some of them were made. |

I put a threaded joint at the top of the vertical piece, and add about a foot horizontally at the base of the section holding the flag (using another 45 degree piece). Eventually we'll put a name sign on it. It works very well! Send me a picture. I'll do so in a couple weeks. Right now the trailer is at the yard, but we're going to Niagara Falls when our friends from the Netherlands get here. It's almost identical to this one, with a threaded joint at the top of the vertical section. That makes it a little less bulky for storage in the trailer. http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...akePark032.jpg Go ride the Maid of the Mist on the the Canadian side. Much better boat ride up to the falls. The Niagara Falls trip will have to wait for spring. It seems the campgrounds, at least the several I looked at, all close their doors on October 15th, or earlier. We then thought to visit Cape Cod, but the news was the same. We found one that was open, but all the facilities were closed on October 15th. So, we're going to West Virginia instead. -- A Harry Krause truism: "It's not a *baby* kicking, beautiful bride, it's just a fetus!" [A Narcissistic Hypocrite] |

Campgrounds in the north country close in the winter due to lack of business and freezing water pipes. Besides, most RVs aren't that well insulated. It would cost a fortune to keep them warm in the winter. |

I recommend the Hotel Morgan in Morgantown. Nice old hotel, comfy rooms, great downtown location, right across the street from Madeleine's Restaurant. Much more comfortable than a tin-can camper. Oh...for a classy guy like you, though...you might prefer Nitro, West Virginia. Kind of a smelly, chemical-laden atmosphere. You won't notice the stench. |

I did look on line and saw that they do have quite a good reputation among avid bike riders. |
