Most are pretty decent. The price is primarily driven by the materials.
Real sunbrella fabric will cost your more. A stainless frame instead of an aluminum one will also cost you more. Stainless is probably the best way to go if you are in salt water and you want it to really last a long while. The aluminum is fine in fresh water. I prefer the plastic ends because that makes them the weak point instead of the hull mountings. You can install it yourself but it helps a lot to have a buddy.
