Canada Steamship Line's Right Hon Paul J Martin is close to entering
Lock 7 (Thorold Ontario Canada) of the Welland Canal. She is empty, which is unusual for an upbound Canadian laker, and was headed to Hamilton Ontario. Steve |

That's a wicked cool shot.
I can tell it's Canadian by looking at the drafts. Mark |

Thanks Mark. Didn't turn out quite as I think I was imagining, but I
liked it anyway. Glad you liked it too. Steve On Sun, 30 Oct 2011 17:42:35 -0400, "MWB" wrote: That's a wicked cool shot. I can tell it's Canadian by looking at the drafts. Mark |

The bow thruster was running all along there. Glad I wasn't on the
canal wall at one point as I would have gotten wet from a big splash. Unfortunately, I did not have the camera at the ready, so no picture of it. Steve On Tue, 1 Nov 2011 00:45:36 -0400, "MWB" wrote: Her bow thruster is running. Mark |

Mark The ship must pull to the left in the canal. That would be caused by the ship's screw rotation. Mark |
