Somehow this post didn't seem to come through... so maybe this is a repost

Before the start the yachts passed close to the Abel Tasman. They had
placed this activity at the point were the currents run hardest. With the
strong wind against the tide, this made for an excellent view..

My home is about 500 meters from this point, just behind the dike in the
background.
