Start your day with vigour and glee
Jump out of bed and into the sea
Climb up the mast and onto the yards
Do the duties written on the cards

Throw them overboard and watch them drown

Pull up the mainsail, sheet in the sheets
Backstay the halliards, clew in the cleats
Hoist up the gybe and pull in the track
Do the dishes and break your back
