Either this web designer doesn't know how to use frames properly or Lycos
doesn't. Someone needs to go back and reconfigure how each page opens when
opening a link from within a frame so that you don't keep getting layer upon
layer of that Lycos side bar thing.

Also, anyone that visists a Lycos hosted site should beware of Lycos side
search. It's a browser hijacker of sorts that sets itself up as your
default search engine and is a pain to uninstall. I believe you need
something like Spybot Search and Destroy to get rid of it completely.

Dave,

I noticed your remarks. That's why I moved the board to
http://kayakboard.T35.com
This server is a little slower, but suffisiant enough for this kind of
board. You should get there a minimum of pop-up ads,
and if there is people could use the popup killer included in eg the google
toolbar (toolbar.google.com)

Hope this help.

Good for you! Good luck with the board. So what are your goals? How do you
want it to be different from Paddling.net, boatertalk and the NGs?
