My kids begged me to take them to Splish-Splash water park (Exit 72 on
LIE), while a weather called for kayaking. I decided to be a good dad,
dropped them at Splish-Splash and went to look for a lounching space.
It was tough - I have a foldable kayak (Folbot) - I need a parking
space close to the lounching spot. After a long lookup I found one in
Indian Island Country Park ($5 entry ticket). Nice place to kayaking,
except the Peconic river - very crowded with thousands of boats.

Anyone knows other kayak lounching places in LI with a public parking
nearby?
