Practical Guide to Kayaking and Canoeing by Bill Mattos New Condition.
A really superb book on the subject...we are kayakers ourselves, and I would thoroughly recommend this book,a massive encyclopedia style thing 12 inches by 9 and half approx 256 pages.Great colour illustrations & diagramsIt really isn't one of these books that covers only the basics, but goes into great detail on technique, picture by picture, boat styles and style evolution, paddles whitewater, funboating, sea and canoe, including all the well known and advanced strokes for all types of boat, sculling ferrygliding, breaking out ,pry, revers paddle, rolling in kayak & canoe various equipment ,canoe history, advanced grade 4 & 5 whitewater etc. I would say that the largest sections are on kayaking, but having said that there is also a lot on the other types of boat too. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...e=STRK:MESE:IT |
