FA The Wizard Dee Wales canoe canoing vintage 1934
The Wizard Dee, A June Voyage From Bala to the Sea by T W Cubbon ,
1934 ,good condition, 176 pages. Fabulous story of a voyage down the perilous Dee (I know it's perilous from bitter experience!) in prewar 1930s Wales. The boat utilised (The Ladybird ) is difficult to categorise,and seems to be large for a canoe,as the modern paddler would understand,but too streamlined for a standard rower. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...e=STRK:MESE:IT |
